Running with a Goal in Mind

Hello Readers,

My coach has often referred to me in the past as tenacious, I didn't even know what it meant when he first said it, in fact it just reminded me of Tenacious D and considering some of the things they sing about I was worried.

But during my journey to London Marathon it became apparent why he called me it....and this leads me nicely onto today's quote (stolen) 'Some people succeed because they are destined, but most because they are determined.'

Welcome to 2017

Good Evening my Running Readers,

Welcome to my first post of 2017, I am a bit late on the uptake I know, however, one thing I was told as a child, if you have nothing worth talking about don't talk.  In fairness, I have never listened to this snippet of advice, but I have not been doing much training during January due to my quad/hamstring strains.

When do you stop, starting over?

Good evening all,

It has been a while.  I can only apologise for my tardiness and assure you that had I have posted, it would not have been enjoyable to read but full of moans and self pity.....  Alright alright I hear you shouting at your computer screen 'nothing unusual there then!' and I agree.
